Normally, child support terminates when a child turns eighteen years old.  If a child is still attending high school when she turns eighteen, however, child support continues during the time the child continues to attend high school or an equivalency program, but only until the child reaches nineteen years of age.  A.R.S. Sec. 25-320 (F).

In the case of a severely disabled child whose disability began before the child reached the age of majority, the court has authority to order support to continue past the age of majority.  A.R.S. Sec. 25-320 (E).  This holds true even if the child is over the age of majority when the petition for support is filed.  Id.

The court may order the support to be paid to the parent with whom the adult son or daughter resides regardless of whether that parent has a guardianship order.  Gersten v. Gersten, 219 P.3d 311, 317-18 (Ariz. App. 2009).
