Happy new year everyone! Traditionally, divorce filings spike after the new year. Many people who decide during the last quarter of the year that they want to file for divorce simply put it off until after the holidays. Over the next few weeks, I anticipate that everyone who has been “waiting in the wings” will be getting their divorces filed and served. I have added staff in my office recently, and we have the capacity to take on the expected influx of new cases.
